I have been told that it is for an early Pathe recorder, but I don't know if this is correct. It is in good condition and may be still usable on the right machine. The record is very lightly grooved, I suppose to act as a path for the cutting needle. It is made of wax over a heavier substrate like bakelite or mortor. The inner material is not visable but it's heavy. The record measures about 8 3/8" in diameter and 3/8" thick. The center hole is also about 3/8" in diameter, which I think is a bit bigger than a standard record would have. If you recognize the format of this record and the machine it is for then please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks! mike ________________________________ From: Art Shifrin <[log in to unmask]> To: [log in to unmask] Sent: Sunday, April 22, 2012 5:56 PM Subject: [ARSCLIST] ebay item 160785630053 Can any of you add to the description & provide links?
