PCC NACO catalogers working with Mongolian names, and everyone else, too: A reminder to refer to the document at: http://www.loc.gov/cds/notices/mongcat.pdf before updating or creating any name authority records for Mongolian personal names. LC's Cooperative Programs Section and LC's Policy and Standards Division have recently received notification that several NACO libraries have been incorrectly changing the first indicator from 0 to 1 in the NARs that were updated during this project.
