Steven,

At the PCC Ops meeting in 2011, there was strong preference to keep using the provider-neutral model for the time being even when all else in a record was RDA. There is a P-N/RDA report and guidelines in effect at:

http://www.loc.gov/aba/pcc/rda/RDA%20PCC%20Proposed%20Guidelines%20and%20Standards.html

This is a temporary measure, but is in effect for now.

Subject: [PCCLIST] Policy on reproductions in RDA

Is one of the RDA TGs working on reproductions & facsimiles policy? Is there any documentation available? Is it assumed that pcc will follow LCPS 27.1.1.3 when the reproduction record is separate from the record for the original?

thanks in advance for any feedback,
