Analogs (!) to this is the group of problems regarding the adhesives in applied art. Not to mention culinary works for which there was never a recipe beyond the "feel" of the chef (my grandmother's bread, for instance). What does this imply regarding our assumptions of the immortality of creators' works made with the expectation they would outlive those who them? For how long? Isn't this a set of examples of Satre's idea that one is immortal only so long as there are those who remember?
