I use Dartpro 24 http://www.dartpro.com .This software allows you to choose sample rate for recording and adjust speed to correct. It will slow down a recording substantially if desired, with no ill effects. You "adjust sample rate" to correct the speed, then "resample" to 44100 standardize the format. I can supply the formulii to adjust speed for various labels if desired -Mickey Follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/MickeyRClark M.C.Productions Vintage Recordings 710 Westminster Ave. West Penticton BC V2A 1K8 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Louis Hone" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Wednesday, October 10, 2012 9:15 AM Subject: Re: [ARSCLIST] What's the best way to remove surface noise on Columbia Shellac (1930)? > What do you use to bring it back to the right speed in your computer? > I've > never had much success with plugins.
