Hi everyone,

We're super excited to announce DC/SLA's first program for 2013! Whether we�re covering the reference desk, working with IT staff, justifying our budgets/services to decision makers, or doing some kind of outreach let�s face it strong creative communication skills are essential.

Join DC/SLA for Librarians Can Act! This two hour class with Theatre Lab, a local nonprofit school for the dramatic arts, will help you refine your communication skills via improv and creativity exercises. You�ll get a chance to get to know your fellow DC/SLA members better after a series of networking exercises.
