Know Your Neighborhood Series: The Rise and Fall and Rise of Columbia Heights @ the Mount Pleasant Library

The Know Your Neighborhood program series continues Wednesday April 3rd at 6:30pm with a lecture and presentation by local historian Brian Kraft. He will present a sweeping view of the history of the Columbia Heights neighborhood that mirrors the history of Urban America. He will trace the neighborhood's beginnings, physical development, demographic upheavals, and recent resurgence with maps, photos, and other images. Join us for "The Rise and Fall and Rise of Columbia Heights" in the meeting room on the main floor of the library Wednesday April 3rd at 6:30pm.

Know You Neighborhood is a series of programs exploring the history of DC neighborhoods, a collaboration between DC Public Library's Washingtoniana Division and the Mount Pleasant Library.
