Hello Heikki,

Your schema change requests were scheduled to be discussed at our last METS Board teleconference, but because of some scheduling mix-ups we ended up not having that meeting. However, our next meeting is scheduled for May 16, and your change requests are on the top of our agenda.

In the meantime, one thing that would help our evaluation is if you could provide us with some valid sample files for each of the MDTYPE schema additions that you are requesting. Part of our evaluation is confirming that any xml or binary data that can be embedded in an mdWrap is compatible with the METS schema. Usually this is not a problem, but there have been past issues with XML schema incompatabilities.

Kind regards,
Tom
