Subject: [PCCLIST] NACO: Do parenthesis get normalized out?

I have two different conferences: one called Solar (usage: Solar 2011), and the other called Solar ... Conference (usage: the Solar 2008 Conference). They are not quite the same thing and should have different access points and ARs.

Does the access point, "Solar (Conference)" (that is--the name of the conference qualified per RDA 11.13.1.2 "If the preferred name for the body does not convey the idea of a corporate body, add a suitable designation") count as a conflict with the access point, "Solar Conference"?
