Archivists..

We're currently updating/consolidating the format terms among our databases to (mostly) AARC2/IASA and I'm wondering: to what extent does the switch to RDA affect archival description? For example, are we expected to use "Audiocassettes" as a finding aid series designation now? Or is RDA only meant for MARC records?

To be sure, I'm familiar with DACS. We use it. This conversation is about series-level description.

Thanks,
Brandon
