Hi, Wendy,

Done that. All it infers is that I spelled the names corectly. No further
dates nor data. Probaly have to prowl various editions of Baker et al. I
keep trying to buy a copy of al but someone else always gets there first.

Steve

Hi, Steve,

You might check the Lib. of Congress Authority files
(http://authorities.loc.gov/) for one idea. (Search name authority, last
name first, then click on link to your match for full authority record.
info. at the bottom of record.)

Best,
Wendy

Where di I find birth and death dates on line for obscure conductors?
Excluding Wiki.

A few examples:

Philippe Flon, listed as born both 1854 and 1861. Anyone know if made
recordings other than on Mapleson cylinders?
J. Louis van den Meden
Bainbridge Robinson
Lilian Bryant

Thanks,
