Hello, Does anyone on the list have any suggestions as to where I might go about looking for radio transcripts or any other information about the New York radio station WRNY in the early 1930s? I'm writing a dissertation about jazz in 1920s colonial Asia and, as part of project, I've followed the Filipino trombonist Nicanor "Nick" Amper from Manila to Shanghai, Calcutta, Singapore, and New York. I've found that he was leading a group on WRNY in 1931 and 1932. I'd appreciate any suggestions from the list about sources or archives I might consult to find out more about this station. Thank you, Fritz Schenker -- Fritz Schenker PhD Candidate, Ethnomusicology University of Wisconsin - Madison
