Dupre recorded with the Detroit Symphony, with his friend Paul Paray, for Mercury. It would be worth checking out if the Saint-Saens "Organ" Symphony was also performed live, and if a radio broadcast occurred. I would guess one might check with the Detroit Symphony's archivist as a first step, perhaps check Detroit newspapers' radio listings from that time period. -- Tom Fine ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dennis Rooney" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Sunday, December 15, 2013 4:53 PM Subject: [ARSCLIST] Marcel Dupré Radio Broadcasts > Dear fellow list members, > > I received the following query from Adam Freeman, which I pass on in case > anyone has the information he seeks. > > * * * * * > > I am writing on behalf of l'Association des Amis de l'Art de Marcel Dupré. > > Dupré toured extensively the US; do you know of radio broadcasts he > participated in America?
