The FDIC Library purchases [work-related] books for employees throughout our Corporation. Lately, many books have been going electronic only. Our IT environment is highly restrictive, and sometimes e-books that we need to buy are only available via a platform that hasn't been approved by our IT department.
Has anyone else encountered a similar situation where they work, and how have they worked with IT to resolve platform/access issues?
