Jane,
If one sees the contents of the performance database as providing additional information about the materials in a collection that is being described in a finding aid, perhaps scope and content might be the place for the link.
Obviously, there is no clear cut candidate. EAD1 had a wrapper element, adjunct descriptive data, but none of its children, which all remain, fit this case precisely. Perhaps Other Finding Aid might work as well- conceptually at least if not precisely according to its current definition.

Yes, that might be best. It is not 'related materials' in the archival sense so much as 'additional information you might be interested in' because it is not about linking out to 'materials' as such. But I'm not sure there is something that semantically covers that kind of relationship specifically. In the end it is the 'association to the described materials' that I think is the key.
