Hey all, (Perhaps this is perfect time-killing fodder for those of us terminally bored in airports getting to the conference today.) An artist, Mark Ryden is releasing a charity album "The Gay Nineties - Olde Tyme Music" featuring interpretations of the 1892 song Daisy Bell by a good cross section of modern performers. It is a part of Ryden's art exhibition "The Gay Nineties West" which opened at Kohn Gallery in Los Angeles, CA on May 3, 2014. He also went ahead and uploaded the recordings to YouTube with fantastic animated visuals. Assuming you have a fast enough connection on your preferred device, I highly suggest watching a few: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=search_videos&search_query=daisy+bell My personal favorite is Mark Mothersbaugh's rendition, but Tyler the Creator's is up there as well.
