It was a great conference with some of the best sessions being about
"collecting". Anyone even remotely interested in Southern music (like me) was in
"hog heaven" (so to speak - especially with the great Reception Steve Weiss
and the Southern Folklore Center held on Thursday night!). and with the
live music in the lobby every night with ARSC member who are also
professional musicians and those who play just for fun, it kept the Sheraton jumping.

Cary Ginell usually posts a great blog here summarizing day by day, but
this year he was busy being program chair and his wife Gail was along, so I'm
not sure of his plans but hoping he uses his talent for writing to share
some of his thoughts. I'll do some sharing with photos and video And just a
reminder that by end of summer (maybe sooner) the audio from the sessions
will be available to current PAID ARSC members. That is just ONE great
benefit to joining ARSC.

Now back to catch up on all the sleep I lost.

Oh I forgot --- the 2015 Conference is in Pittsburgh PA May 27-30, 2015
And we have a great centrally located hotel.
