So far, no responses.
In addition to the two albums mentioned, he is credited with illustration on
an EMI Gershwin collection with Peter Donohoe - haven't seen the cover.
He illustrated many books, including the original edition of GEORGE
GERSHWINS SONG BOOK (1932, ltd ed and trade editions). Photos can be found
in the internet - strangely oblique.
I suspect he did NOT create work for album covers, but the three covers
mentioned probably simply used work created which was appropriate. Can
anyone confirm this ???
Any other examples of his work on record album covers ???
  Thanks!
Best wishes, Thomas.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] cover art - ALAJALOV

The cover art on the LIBERTY MUSIC SHOP Dwight Fiske album appears to be
signed ALAJALOV.

Wiki lists an artist CONSTANTIN ALAJALOV
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constantin_Alajalov

who did covers for New Yorker, Saturday Evening Post etc and book jackets.

There is an Alajalov cover on RCA LM 1990 Offenbach - Boston Pops/Fiedler
LP.

Anyone know of other album cover work by this artist - 78 or LP ???

Thanks!

Best wishes, Thomas.
