The question is whether Pseudo-Euripides has an established authorial
identity similar to Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite and is referred to as
such in statements of responsibility or in literature about the work in
question. I remember a friend in graduate school commenting on the
distinct
personality of the musical theorist Anonymous IV (as in The Music Treatise
of Anonymous IV: A New Translation, 1985). Both Pseudo-Dionysius and
Anonymous 4 wrote more than one work, however. An additional complication
would be whether or not there were several different pseudonymous works
attributed to Euripides that were clearly by different people, as happens
with Augustine of Hippo.

All headings under which uniform titles are entered; e.g., if an NAR
for the uniform title Works is entered under an author who is not
established in the LC/NAF, an NAR for the author must be contributed as
well.”
