Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory
Kossiakoff Center, Laurel Maryland
Join the SLA Maryland Chapter as thought leaders, practitioners, industry providers and colleagues
convene for a full day of programming devoted to leveraging data—perhaps the single-most important skill
that will define the next generation of leaders and future directions in the information profession!
[log in to unmask]" alt="*"> Leveraging Data to Lead will look at issues around digital content, delivery and the skills sets needed
to succeed in today’s data-driven workplaces. Three nationally known thought leaders and innovators will open the program with keynote addresses that are both practical and provocative: James King, Branch Chief and Information Architect, National Institutes of Health Library; Nancy Faget, Army Research Laboratory Data Wrangler; and Richard Huffine, Independent Information Professional.

Rounding out the day will be: over 17 table-top exhibits from companies developing leading-edge products and services; a luncheon with door prizes; a Data Community of Practice
Wrap-up Session; and a networking opportunity to conclude!
