Apparently this guy confused "Grand Army" with "grand wizard." Good job keeping him honest with a friendly manner, Dave. -- Tom Fine PS -- GAR trivia. Fred Fennell's ancestors, either grandfather or great-uncle(s) were GAR members, and held an "encampment" at or near the family's Ohio home. I have some old photos that Fred sent when he found out I was very interested in Civil War history. I'm sure the GAR connection was what got Fred so fascinated with the band music of the time, which led to the 2-volume Mercury "The Civil War" albums (in frequent enough rotation on cheapo "record players" during my childhood to wear out my first two copies), which led to the weaponry sounds used in the Ken Burns documentary, which was just rebroadcast on the PBS station here (with very distorted sound from WNET via Comcast HD). ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Lewis" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Thursday, September 17, 2015 9:33 AM Subject: [ARSCLIST] Policing the Vintage Record State > [[Name of dealer withheld]], > > Took note of your listing below.
