This position is located in the Reference Services Section of the Navy Department Library (NDL), Naval History and Heritage Command.  This position is responsible for performing modified and descriptive cataloging, providing Library acquisition and circulation services and accomplishing a variety of other administrative support services.

DUTIES:
.Carry out circulation functions and procedures, including but not limited to, processing inter-library loans, registering and maintaining borrower accounts, charging and discharging materials, sending overdue notices, shelving/re-shelving materials, and providing statistical circulation reports.
.Perform Library procurement of monographic materials, books, serials and supplies through various ordering systems.
.Modify existing Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) records and prepare books for shelf readiness.
.Process and receive shipments of materials approved by the Head of Reference and the Library Director to and from the vendor selected for Library binding. 
.Execute digitization functions and procedures, including but not limited to, original scanning, proofreading, and correction of digital content, formatting, and application of established metadata.
.Provide a variety of Administrative functions to support the Library as directed.
