Just came across a copy of WESTMINSTER WL 5278 Faure: La Bonne Chanson / Gounod: Blondina performed by Hugues Cuenod, Franz Holetscher, piano. This album was later issued as Westminster XWN 18707. The jacket is designed like the Folkways albums - a single lp size sleeve with an additional piece of cardboard in the jacket to form two pockets - one for the Lp, the other for the booklet of texts & translations. First time I've seen this from Westminster. Was this common with these early (WL series, pre XWN 18000 series) Westminster albums ?? Were other labels using this design for jackets of recordings which included text or notes booklets ?? Thanks! Merry Christmas! Thomas.
