In seeking the expressiveness of a vocabulary, I had to go beyond MARC and BIBFRAME. That's why I would remix BIBFRAME vocabulary with schema.org for event info as the following example for Die Fledermaus Met Opera in JSON format:

Not mentioned is how MARC to Bibfrane cross walks would deal with this. Apart from 111, there are no MARC fields for events.
The events with which we most often deal are art exhibitions and continuing education symposia. These have differing MARC tags.
