The need for publication analysis services is growing rapidly across a range of academic, medical, and special libraries. Such services aim to provide evidence-based applications to assist researchers in determining the nature of their research influence, to support administrators in evaluating the scientific research of laboratories and research groups, and to provide insight into the structure and evolution of scientific research.

This workshop will provide intellectual discussions and hands-on practice related to publication analysis focusing on three subtopics:

·        Overview: What is publication analysis?

·        Benchmarking individuals and research groups: Citation impact metrics

·        Analyzing and visualizing collaboration and topic networks.

The instructors will encourage discussion among attendees and lead them through a range of exercises to build their knowledge and skills in this area of study.

Attendees will use the Web of Science, Science of Science (Sci2) (), and Gephi tools during this workshop.

Limited Seating, so please REGISTER TODAY!: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7VCLPJ6
