Hi Kate, The link does not seem to work. Thank you, Heidi Lerner Heidi G. Lerner Metadata Librarian for Hebraica and Judaica Metadata Dept. Stanford University Libraries Stanford, CA 94305-6004 ph: 650-725-9953 fax: 650-725-1120 e-mail: [log in to unmask] ________________________________ From: Program for Cooperative Cataloging <[log in to unmask]> on behalf of Kathryn Harcourt <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Thursday, April 28, 2016 10:41 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [PCCLIST] Fwd: PCC Advisory Committee formed good afternoon I'd like to call your attention to the appointment of the PCC Advisory Committee. The charge is posted on the PCC home page or directly at https://www.loc.gov/aba/pcc/documents/Linked-Data-Advisory-Charge.docx. This Committee is a result of Strategic Action 2.1 which calls for establishing "new advisory committee with representatives from projects and organizations that have been early experimenters with linked data (e.g., BIBFRAME, BIBFLOW, Harvard ISNI project, LD4L/its successor projects) to guide how the linked data movement will impact PCC standards and policies, and to target areas where PCC is ideally situated to make specific contributions to this evolution." The Committee is chaired by Steven Folsom and as you can see from the membership, draws on expertise from many areas. The charge also includes examples of the types of thorny questions that the Committee will advise us on. All PCC committees are encouraged to pose questions to the Committee and the Committee will be posting white papers and considering way to further the discussions of linked data issues as broadly as possible. Please join me in thanking Steven, MJ, Tom, Tim, Phil, Kirk, Karen, Jennifer and Joanna in taking on this important and much needed role in preparing us for the transition to linked data.
