I deeply regret not being able to attend this historic gathering.  We have all been enriched by the American Folklife Center.  The vision and hard work of Archie Green and many others has born fruit over the years for which our nation is far stronger.  Congratulations to all who are part of this great celebration.

With all good wishes.

Sincerely,

Bill
