Second Call for Presentations ALISE Technical Services Education SIG session ALISE 2017 Conference January 17-20, 2017 Atlanta, Georgia The ALISE Technical Services Education Special Interest Group invites presentation proposals its 2017 conference session discussing ideas for community engagement as a part of technical services learning in MLS programs. We hope to reflect the theme of "community engagement and social responsibility" with presentations on projects that link students with the surrounding community, whether in service/learning activities, mentoring relationships, or volunteer efforts involving students. Projects may involve cataloging or other metadata creation, collection development or assessment, physical or digital preservation, or any other activity related to technical services in LIS.
