re Skip miller and Slim Pickens: Well, there they are, those records, though I should have thought that a case could be made for 400s for Miller, Skip and Pickens, Slim--ondeed, for any such formulation. Certainly in the latter case it's only specialists who know that he's Ryan.

I don’t see anything in RDA that says to ‘deconstruct’ the elements of a personal name and prefer some elements more than others.

 

Of  course, ant variety of VAPs might be added.
