Hi everyone, The CP Section (Coop) is a little behind in processing BFM related to 1XX authority changes. We realize that causes some frustration for users of the NACO authority file and associated bibliographic files. I just returned from a meeting where the BFM processing delay was addressed and some helpful suggestions for improvement were discussed. I am optimistic that the current processing lag time will lessen in the future. Since we don’t have to report BFM for changes to 1XX, I just take it for granted that LC will get a report of the change and eventually get around to the BFM. We make it a point to change the access points in OCLC, however, as not infrequently they either are not controlled or the controlling software doesn’t work and flip the heading. LC has not yet done BFM for 2016016011. The author would like to know what the usual turnaround time is. Does anybody know?
