I agree that bake times are certainly getting longer. I also agree that this problem is more chemical than conditional. However, while a tape that needs baking will still need baking, I keep my collection in 35RH or lower. That probably helps a bit and, so far, have only had to bake one 2” tape longer than 24 hours. However, a week for a 1” reel does not surprise me a bit. We are going to see more and more situations of longer bake times as we go along. It reminds me of the directions on a frozen dinner – “bake until done”.
