I’m forwarding your email to Hirad Dinavari, who has responsibility for reference and collection development for the Iranian World in the African & Middle Eastern Division at the Library of Congress <http://www.loc.gov/rr/amed/nes/nesrefac.html>. This should help.

Subject: Re: [FEDLIB] Seeking Iranian Newspaper Suggestions

Hello Kathleen,

I suggest reaching out to public libraries that serve Persian populations. I worked at the Irvine/University Park Library, which is part of the Orange County (California) Public Library System, and they served a huge Iranian population.I think their acquisitions are centralized, so perhaps start with their HQ: http://ocpl.org/services/about/contact.

If you or your library have expertise in Iran, are there any influential Iranian newspapers or journals you can recommend? They don't need to be in English.

Thank you for your recommendations and advice.
