Head of Cataloging and Metadata (170007)

Winter weather getting you down? Join us in sunny Daytona Beach, Florida!

The Hunt Library Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University seeks an experienced cataloging librarian to lead the Cataloging and Metadata Unit of one librarian, one support staff member, and a number of student assistants. No STEM or aviation experience is required. We are looking for someone with advanced knowledge of accepted cataloging standards and catalog data management experience, ability to work collaboratively, strong organizational skills, and an ALA-accredited masterís degree. While experience with Ex Libris Voyager is a desired qualification, it is not a requirement.

The successful candidate will also possess the ability to devise creative solutions to challenges inherent to a changing environment, as we are preparing for an exciting move to a new ILS and new library in late 2018.

For the past six years, Embry-Riddle has been noted as one of the Chronicle of Higher Education's Great Colleges to Work For. Please see the position listing at https://embryriddle.taleo.net/careersection/002/jobdetail.ftl?job=170007 for full application details. Review of applications begins on February 21 and will continue until the position is filled. This is not a tenure-track position.
