Below is a data curation collaboration opportunity available at the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH). The opportunity has been shared on the Federal OpenOpportunities platform, but we would
like to extend it to our fellow library community as well. If anyone is interested in taking part in this exciting adventure, please reach out to Amy Gay – [log in to unmask]
Become a Data Voyager and help others learn about the vast sea of research data at CDRH!
In response to the February 2013 OSTP White House Memorandum, stating that direct results of federally funded research data be made publicly accessible, the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) at the FDA recently began a pilot
project to build a Science Data Catalog. Through the catalog, the goals are to organize and track internal and external research data, measure public access compliance, and improve the public’s ability to locate and access the data. We are also working with
researchers to help create Data Management Plans, which is a requirement that went in effect with the FDA’s Public Access Policy in January 2016.
