Texas A&M University Libraries seeks a professional to join the Texas A&M University Libraries as Project Cataloger. This is a non-tenure track appointment at the rank of Lecturer with an annual contract for two years and potentially renewable
for a third year. Reporting to the Dean of Libraries through the Director of Cushing Memorial Library and Archives, the Project Cataloger will perform both copy and original cataloging for Cushing Library’s collection materials.
Responsibilities include: perform copy cataloging, enhance OCLC and Voyager records, and perform original cataloging for Cushing Library’s collection materials, including monographs and serials; follow cataloging rules and best practices;
follow and apply internal policies and guidelines; provide bi-weekly oral reports and written reports as needed; support and promote the Libraries and Texas A&M shared vision and values; other duties as assigned.
