I'm preparing some records for listing on eBay. I've an Edison disc, 80293, van Brunt, with a regular paper label with one neatly pasted over the top half (minus some trimmed edges) of one side that reads, in red type, " This Record is Not to be sold. Set Number Three." I'm speculating that this was for a group of records that dealers used for demonstration purposes. Does anyone know for sure what this record was used for? Was this application a factory decision or was it made by the dealer who was supplied with the red print over-labels? Steve Smolian
