FEDLINK Presents American Indian Libraries Initiative: Making More Connections Monday July 17, 2017 1:00pm - 3:30pm Register Today<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/39KXCYW> Join FEDLINK and the Institute of Museums and Library Service (IMLS) for an opportunity for virtual and in-person conversations with the recent winners of the IMLS Native American Library Services Basic Grant and identify ways federal libraries can build support for the nation's tribal college and university community. This event is cosponsored by FEDLINK's American Indian Library Initiative (AILI) which works to identify and establish networks of federal efforts of value to American Indian Libraries including preservation, digitization, cataloging, reference services; integrate event and training opportunities on core information services; and promote access to existing federal resources in legal and STEM knowledge collections. IMLS offers its Native American Library Basic Services Grants to support existing library operations and maintain core library services and competitive enhancement grants to previous grantees to support activities that advance the operations of eligible Native American libraries to new levels of service. Four recent enhancement grant recipients will discuss their projects.
