Hi all,

I suggest the brief article on vocabulary maintenance and the Semantic Web more or less as a follow-up to the Linked Data Advisory Committee’s white paper: Linked Data Infrastructure Models: Areas of Focus for PCC Strategies. I don’t mean this suggestion to be made by me as PCC Chair, but as a cataloger and manager engaged with PCC.

The URL is
http://www.dlib.org/dlib/march17/lovins/03lovins.html
The article is called, Broken-World Vocabularies. It is by Daniel Lovins, New York University (NYU) Division of Libraries and Diane Hillmann, Metadata Management Associates LLC.
It is short, insightful, and thought-provoking.
