CUNY has no works by or about this person, so I cannot justify the time it would take to update the authority record for her (NAR no2002053906, created by MsHaU).  The obituary cited below gives quite a lot of information, and apparently she is better known as Sheila Michaels, and ceased using her husband’s name with their divorce.  There is a record for a plain Michaels, Sheila (n 2007019869) who is a different person.
