Federal and Armed Forces LibraryRound Table Award Nomination Call for FY18
Nominations are accepted between each year forthe four FAFLRT awards to be presented at the ALA Annual Conference. Deadline for nomination is January 31, 2018  We are accepting nominations for:
The FAFLRT DistinguishedService Award recognizes aFAFLRT member for outstanding and sustained contributions to FAFLRT. 
The FAFLRT AchievementAward recognizes anindividual for achievement in the promotion of library and information serviceand the information profession in the Federal community. Those nominated neednot be members of FAFLRT. 
FAFLRT Rising Stars Initiative, highlights the achievements of those new tothe profession. Rising Stars are those people who display a passion forthe profession, both at work and via volunteer or association activities. Rising Star candidates must:
Be a FAFLRT member in good     standing
Work in a federal or armed     forces library or government information management setting
Have graduated from an MLS/MLIS     program five years ago or less
Been a professional librarian     or information manager for five years or less

Adelaidedel Frate Conference Scholarship Award is available to anycurrent Library Science Student and provides $1000.00 to defray the cost ofattending the American Library Association Annual Conference.
You can self-nominatefor any award, but the Conference Scholarship Award requires a recommendationfrom a professor at your University.
