Of interest to federal librarians...
On October 26th, LLAGNY's own Sarah
Lamdan, Associate Law Library Professor at CUNY School of Law, will be
leading a free webcast and live workshop on environmental law research
at the Environmental Law Institute. Information on how to sign up for the
webcast or RSVP for the live discussion is here: https://www.eli.org/events/environmental-information-workshop-researchers.
Sarah will focus on topics from her
book “Environmental Information: Research, Access, and Environmental Decisionmaking”
including legal research strategies, using transparency laws like FOIA
to gather environmental information, records from the environmental rulemaking
process, and resources for understanding the scientific data and statutory
jargon often found in environmental information.
