They actually changed the caption.  Now it doesn’t mention what kind of records they are at all!!!

This caption is wrong: "Just a bit of the BPL’s 200,000 piece vinyl collection". Those records in the photo are SHELLAC [breakable] 78's from the 30's and 40's; not vinyl, which was popular in the 50's through the 90's and is still being made today. I don't know who wrote the caption, but the people digitizing these records should know the difference between shellac and vinyl! Do you need an editor??
