Hello,

I'm working on a newspaper digitization project, and I've got a question
regarding the "target" resolution reference images that are often
included in the NDNP microfilm digitization batches.

For example, in this reel:

https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/data/batches/batch_ak_albatross_ver01/data/sn84020657/0027952665A/

Images 0001-0005 are target images that do not include any newspaper
issue/page content.

For institutions that are storing digitzed newspapers in a digital asset
management system or repository:

1. Are you storing these target images? Or ignoring them?

2. Does the order of the target images matter?

Any insight that people may be able to offer would be greatly
appreciated. We're just getting started with our newspapers project, and
looking for some community consensus around this issue.

Thanks,
Eben
