I was very saddened to learn of Dan Langan's passing, and thank you, Mike, for bringing it to our attention. I knew Dan from ARSC-NY meetings, and in my role as Editor of the Sound Recording Reviews of the ARSC Journal, I was privileged to work with him as a reviewer of sound recordings. His knowledge was encyclopedic, and he was a very interesting guy. We will miss him very much. RIP.
