[This message is being sent to the following PCC discussion lists: PCCLIST, BIBCO, CONSRLST, and SACOLIST]
On Monday, April 23, the Library of Congress will be making some server changes that will affect all Library-hosted discussion lists. After the changes, it will no possible be possible to send list messages using the address “<listname>@LOC.GOV”. Instead, all list messages will be required to use the host suffix “@LISTSERV.LOC.GOV”.
If you are not already doing so, please be sure to use the address “<listname>@LISTSERV.LOC.GOV” when posting to the PCC discussion lists. Any list messages sent with the host suffix “@LOC.GOV” will not be delivered and will bounce to the originator with an “invalid user” error.
Let me know if you have any questions. I suspect everyone is already using the fuller address, but we have been asked to inform you of this change in case some might be using the shorter form.
