The Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division is responsible for the acquisition, processing, preservation, duplication and reference servicing of the audio and motion picture film collections of the Library. These collections consist of motion pictures, magnetic tape (audio and video); disc, wire, cylinder recordings; and associated catalogs, indices, scripts, contracts, agreements and logs pertaining to or describing the collections. The Division maintains fully equipped laboratories to handle the recording, preservation and duplication of these materials. This position is located within the Recorded Sound Section, Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound, Collections and Services Directorate, Library Services.
