For performance reasons we default to 20 records at a time. But you can change that by changing the `rows=20` section of the URL to a higher number.

Thanks Nathan -- I was hoping there was something else available now that didn't involve me having to iterate over a ton of pages just to get the details on the 154k.

Hi John,

Try appending "&format=json" to the end of any directory search result URL.

For example:

https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/search/titles/results/?state=&county=&city=&year1=1690&year2=2018&terms=&frequency=&language=├░nicity=&labor=&material_type=&lccn=&rows=20&format=json<https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/search/titles/results/?state=&county=&city=&year1=1690&year2=2018&terms=&frequency=&language=&ethnicity=&labor=&material_type=&lccn=&rows=20&format=json>

I hope this helps.

Best,
Nathan

Is there a similar all-encompassing-list available for the "U.S. Newspaper Directory, 1690-Present" ~154k titles?

thanks!
