Hi Tim
I have to decks and had used them a number of times for clients. The tapes
are lofi to begin with but the decks operate quietly so I never saw the
need to rehouse. The mechanism pulls the tape out of the shell and threads
it inside the machine. From there it a regular deck. Nothing to write home
about.
