The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Library is the focal point for the exchange of biomedical and scientific information vital to the support of the research activities conducted at the National Institutes of Health. The library also provides information services and resources to several other agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
The afternoon’s events will include a look at the history of the NIH Library; an overview of the services and resources offered; a look at the NIH Library’s bibliometrics, bioinformatics and data services programs; tours of the Tech Hub, Library and Green Terrace; and a virtual reality demonstration, for users to interact with a virtual space.
