Right on, Ron Roscoe. ďFacebook is a time sink.Ē
The committees and leadership of ARSC do an absolutely terrific job. Long
hours. No pay. Many thanks to all of you.
However, Some ARSC members are trying to reduce (difficult to eliminate)
on-line surveillance systems that use personal data to make money for
gazillionaires. Iíll gladly tell you anything you want to know about the
movies I watch and my unusual interest in womenís undergarments, but first,
whatís it worth to you? Free, is the wrong answer.
ARSC forums are a great way for members to stay in touch, for leadership to
keep an ear to the ground, but please, canít we find an avenue other than
Facebook. Iíll bet a survey would show a surprising number of ARSC members
who donít go near the thing. We donít have pictures of grandchildren we want
to share with the world!

Regards,
Alex McGehee
